Getting to know my body

Hey there!

You’ve probably been following along on my journey to understand and get to know my ADHD brain. With all the learnings and experimenting that I’ve been doing, I have still been feeling like I’ve been missing something. It almost feels as though I’m on a monthly rollercoaster – and I know I’m not alone. A lot of my female clients have been reporting the same kind of experience. True to who I am as a lifelong learner and questioner – I want to understand what is going on! Not unlike what I did to understand my ADHD brain: it is now time to work with my body instead of against it. The first step in this new adventure is understanding.

On my journey to understand my body and this monthly rollercoaster ride I feel that I am forever riding, I started to listen to the podcast “The 4 Phase Cycle Podcast“. From there I downloaded the app “myFLO” and immediately after downloading the app I ordered the book that I have since dove into: “Woman Code” by Alisa Vitti.

I will be using this blog, Missleadingly ADHD, to share my adventure of learning about my monthly cycle because I have a strong hunch that by getting to know my body and its hormones, I will be in turn helping my ADHD.

Stay tuned!
