Alrighty, so I have done the simple assessment on page 43 of The Woman Code.
Here are my results:

I often know that I am getting my period because of “breast tenderness“. That said, because I have irregular cycles I could have breast tenderness for 3 weeks at a time.
I used to get migraines a lot more often than I do now- so there’s a win! Migraines may even come on day 5/6/7 when my period is coming to an end — I’m going to keep an eye on that one.
Leading up to my period, I tend to get unexplainable cramps. I once read somewhere that this could be when I am ovulating but we will see if that’s really the case!
Painful periods are really sporadic. Sometimes they are really painful and other times it’s a walk in that park. I am very excited to see why that is!

I know that it isn’t on the list but I am also wondering about oily hair.

I drink a few drinks alcohol-based drinks on the weekend – nothing crazy. I’m wondering what the book has to say about this!
Anxiety is something that I have had for as long as I can remember. Let’s see what impact Woman Code will have on my anxiety! Same goes for headaches (I have one as I write this blog post).
Weight gain – oh my! For as long as I can remember my mom has told me that I am so lucky to be naturally skinny. That I should cherish it because it might not always be this way. I didn’t believe her. I never had to work at being a healthy weight – it was just the way I was. I can tell you that I am turning 30 in October and my body is definitely changing! I have gained about 20 pounds since coronavirus arrived in March of 2020 (it is April 2021 as I write this post) and I don’t have the tools or understanding to lose the pounds I have gained. If I happen to lose 10 pounds while making the changes from this book, I will be a happy camper!
Have you read the Woman Code or have you adapted a lifestyle that works with your monthly cycle rather than against it? I would love to hear your experience!
